Tagging Luggage

Tagging the luggage is one of the most important things that one should do before the cruise there are a lot of reasons why let me go through a couple of them.

Tagging your luggage before your cruise is important just as important as tagging your luggage and your carry-ons properly when you come off the ship with thousands and thousands Bags been placed on the ship every cruise there is so much room for error so the more your bag stands out the better chances are that you’re going to make sure your bag gets sent to your room and gets back in your car on the way home please put your first and last name, your cell phone number and your email address on every bag including your carry-ons.

If I found your carry-on on our bus how would I be able to get it back to you? You say to me “I’ll never lose my carry-on it’s always with me.”  We find hundreds of carry-ons every year, and our biggest struggle is no tags on the carry-ons, camera bags, makeup bags etc. .

Also it helps to tag your bag with ribbons or tape we seen people put fluorescent ribbons on their bags or all their bags have lanyards on it that hang off you know 18 inches or longer or they take this either bags with fluorescent tape I’ve seen people spray paint their last name on their bags with fluorescent paint anything you can do to make sure your bag stands out so no one else accidentally grabbed your bag and that goes to the last bill the problem that we have in this industry people in large groups leaving one person in charge of their bags and that person not fully knowing what everybody else has and they actually pick up someone else’s bag that is yours and it’s usually that little black bag

So when you arrive for your cruise make sure you’re prepared with all your bags tag with your name, cell phone number and email address on it. Also have a good count make sure you know how many bags are taking especially if you’re in a large group.
