Carnival Cruise Lines’ vessel, M/S Celebration, made its inaugural voyage from Galveston Island September 30, 2000. Since then, the Carnival Cruise Line has serviced millions of cruisers with three ships sailing from this port. That service has been much of the reason Galveston is the fourth busiest port in the country. Over the years Galveston has welcomed Carnival Vista, Breeze, Dream, Freedom, and others from their fleet of ships.
